Gloria has been Justice Peace Contact Person for the Province of Singapore/Malaysia since 2006. She has been a member of the Asia Pacific Justice Peace (APJP) core team from its inception in 2008 until 2016. She was coordinator of the Justice Peace Network from the beginning of 2013 until 2016.
Now Gloria has taken the decision to step down from the Asia Pacific Justice Peace Core Team and as Justice Peace Contact Person for her province. She will be sorely missed.. As we explore again the material below, which is only a small sample of Gloria's contribution to Good Shepherd Asia Pacific over the years, we will understand her need to review and rationalise her workload. The ripple effect of Gloria's significant contribution to Good Shepherd Mission and Spirit, particularly through action for social justice, will go on into the future.
Notable achievements of the APJP Network during the period of Gloria's leadership include:
United in a Bright Future - The experience of the Forum.
Published 'The Cries of Women' Book 1 and 2. They comprise of stories from the APJP Network.

In 2014 Good Shepherd in Singapore-Malaysia launched The Story of St. Mary Euphrasia Pelletier with a booklet and youtube video. It was undertaken by the Mission Link Committee of the Singapore/Malaysia Province. Gloria Bon headed this project.
The booklet and video are presented with clarity, using the language of today. They are mission focussed and highlight the role of lay mission partners in the life of St Mary Euphrasia. At the conclusion of the booklet the writer identifies characteristics of Mary Euphrasia which may resonate most with us today.
