Season of Creation 2021

Season of Creation

During this Season of Creation (September 1 - October 4) we join in solidarity with Good Shepherd communities, workplaces and groups all over the world.

Thanks to Good Shepherd International Justice Peace Office (GSIJPO) for sharing many fine resources in preparation for this event.

Abraham's Tent - A home for all....

Amid crises that have shaken our world, the global Christian family is awakened to the urgent need to heal our relationships with creation and with each other during the ecumenical Season of Creation.

During the 2021 Season of Creation thousands of Christians on six continents gather for a time of restoration and hope, a jubilee for our Earth, and to discover radically new ways of living with creation.

More than ever before, the global Christian family will unite to pray and take action for our common home.

COP26 Engagement Pack for Faith, Religion and Belief

The UK will host the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October – 12 November 2021. The COP26 summit will bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Ahead of COP26 in November, this pack provides information, resources and ideas of ways that Faith, Religion and Belief Groups might like to get involved with COP26.
